The Elm Hollow Road was devastated in the flood of June 19, 2006.  As a result, the road was closed to through traffic for two years.  

Finally, in September 2008, the road is being rebuilt.  At the time these pictures were taken, the crews were working 6 days/week 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. because they had to be out of the stream by October 1.
